more then 1300 miles of the river are on the EPA's "dirty water list" for vilating water quality standards and there've been annual fish kills for the past several years.overdevelopment is a leading cause.

the scrolls(i'm included in) which debuted at the charleston museum will be at museum of modern arf may 13th on hudson street in clarendon,check out the website.the exhibit includes american,iraqi and italian artists and is touring the country.a previous exhibit, breaking the silence, which opposed the war had a visitor with bush/cheney stickers who called a cop and said the exhibit should be closed because it was unpatriotic and satanic and several other things.the opening at the charleston museum had the support of veterans groups.

prague spring in virginia
we have something of a prague spring in virginia,democrats are blossoming with an irish catholic governor and three new delegates in the area.and, the new delegates,one italian and i think one irish, are capable of getting rid of the republican house members.there's even a little dublin in arlington.i don't think the commonwealth has been particularly well served by the republicans.they won't pass a minimum wage increase.the right to work law is a throwback to another era and they don't want immigrants to get in-state tuition which would make them permanent members of the underclass,and, the 21 day rule on new evidence for the death penalty defies imagination.
